The word ‘socialist’ was added in the Preamble by the Forty Second Amendment. The addition of the ‘socialist’ indicates the incorporation of the philosophy of ‘socialism’ in the Constitution which aims at elimination of inequality in income, status and standards of life.
SOCIALIST :-Wealth generated socially and can be shared equally by society.Indian socialism is “democratic socialism”and blend of both Marxism and Gandhism
