These interactions are very complex, and even small changes in them can lead to significant changes in long-term climate behavior. A simple illustration of the major elements of the energy cycle is shown in the figure.

Oxygen cycle : The oxygen cycle describes the various forms in which oxygen is found and how it moves through different reservoirs on Earth. It is one of the biogeochemical cycles.There are three major reservoirs of oxygen: the atmosphere, biosphere, and lithosphere. Some people also consider the hydrosphere, a subdivision of the biosphere, to be the fourth reservoir.

Nitrogen Cycle : The nitrogen cycle is the biogeochemical cycle by which nitrogen is converted into multiple chemical forms as it circulates among atmosphere, terrestrial, and marine ecosystems. The conversion of nitrogen can be carried out through both biological and physical processes.
