Answer:

)The expression, 'leprous hide', refers to the bark of the tree which looks like the skin of a leprosy patient. It is brown, dry and rough. Leaves grow from its 'leprous hide'. The poet here personifies the tree by describing its bark as 'leprous'.2)Bleeding bark” refers to the area on the tree trunk where it has been hit with the axe. It bleeds because the wood cutter has wounded the tree by cutting and chopping it.

)Miniature boughs means the reproduction of versions of smaller scale. Miniature boroughs can be known as painting miniature and portrait miniature, however both are very smaller in size.

)Anchoring earth” refers to the roots of the tree that lie inside the earth and play the role of an anchor for the tree to grow. They ensure the security of the tree as they nourish it with water and nutrients.

)The tree is finally killed by pulling out of the mother earth. When its roots are exposed to sunlight and air, the tree begins to get scorched and choked. It then starts withering.
