Explain the following facts:- a) though the electronegativeties of nitrogen and chlorine are same however NH3 exist as liquid whereas HCL as gas. b)carbon oxygen bond lengths are equal in carbonation

because the NH3 has more dipole moment because of these its electronegativity is more and also have paramid shape which is positive charge while HCL is a negative charge compound.Here clorine is a harmful gas which too reactive with any gas. while nitrogen positive charge and not too harmful
