hey!

valency is the combining capacity of an element

it decides the how many electrons from an atom can be shared or gained in a chemical reaction

eg - sodium , atomic no = 11 , electronic configuration = 2,8,1 = hence its valency is 1

•tyndall effect

scattering of light by the particles present in the path of an object

eg- colloids solution show tyndall effect bcoz their particles are big enough to scatter the beam of light falling on them

a) tyndall effect - The earth's atmosphere is a heterogenous mixture of small particles. this particles smoke, tiny small water droplets and other. when a beam of light strike such type of particles then the path of beam become visible. this phenomenon of scattering of light by the particles is known as Tyndall effect.

b) Valency - the valency of an element is the number of hydrogen atom which are able to combine and replace one atom of the element.
