Explain the following: Hydrogen fluoride is a weaker acid than hydrogen chloride in aqueous solution.

HF is one of the most strongest ionic bond and and as fluorine is most electro-negative compound and  hydrogen the most electropositive compound they form a stronger bond and are difficult to separate. Whereas HCl can be ionized in aqueos solution.
