Question 1 : Why does the light  dispersed by the raindrops appear as bow ?

Answer : when the white light from the sun hits a raindrop the light is dispersed as it enters (like in the prism). The different colors undergo refraction and reflection due to the change of index of refraction between the water and the air.

Question 2 : Why does tooth decay start when the pH of  mouth is lower than 5.5 ?

Answer : Bacteria in the mouth create acids after eating through the oxidation of sugar and food particles in the mouth. Tooth decay starts when the mouth's pH is below 5.5. ... Since plaque coats the teeth, saliva can not reach the tooth layer to neutralize the acid.
