tungsten is used for the filament of electric lamp because it has very high melting point which help him not to get melt in very high temperature
tungsten wire has very high resistance which help him in getting very hot as much as that it can EMIT white light
Copper and Aluminium :-
Copper and Aluminium are used in electrical transmission because they are cheap and good conductor of electricity just after gold and silver
