And ‘somebody’s mother’ bowed her head

In her home that night, and the prayer she said

Was ‘God be kind to the noble boy,

Who is somebody’s son, and pride and joy!’

In this poem 'Somebody's Mother's the poet is trying to tell us that we should help everyone who are around us could it be elder and even our mother pray God to make our child helpful he is saying that if today I helped that old woman and next time someone else will help my mother during her oldage when I am not with her.
