Answer:
Hey mate here is your answer ....
Explanation:
Anaphora is a literary device in which words and expressions are repeated at the beginning of a number of sentences, clauses, or phrases.
Ex:- It was a best time.
It was a best dress.
In these sentences 'It was a best' is the anaphora.
paradox is a statement that seems self contradictory but in reality expresses a possible truth.
For example:- wise fool, your enemy's friend is your enemy, etc.
HOPE THAT THIS WILL HELP YOU.........
Anaphora is a literary device, that shows repitition in a paragraph/poem. It is used to bring out rythm, attention and emotion in one's sayings.
Example:
A speech by Winston Churchill, back at the house of Commons, in June 1940:
"We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills."
Paradox is when a statement made shows contradictory meaning.
Examples:
- She is a wise fool.
Here, a fool would refer to someone who might show no sense, or is of no use. Calling her 'wise', would indeed show contradictory meaning.
Another example is Oscar Wilde's most famous line:
- I can resist anything but temptation.
