Metaphor- a word or phrase that is used in an imaginative way to show that somebody/something has the same qualities as another thing...
Personification- the attribution of human nature or character to animals ,inanimate objects especially as a rhetorical figure
Alliteration- the use of the same letter or sound at the beginning of the words that are close together
Repetition- doing something again and again
Refrain- to stop urself doing something
Hyperbole- the way of speaking or writing that makes something sound better
Onomatopoeia- the facts of words containing sound similar to the noises they describe
Simile- a word or phrase that compares something to something else
