Explain the following phenomenon: (i) Plants do not twinkle.................. (ii) Sun appear reddish early in the morning ........ (iii) Sky appear dark instead of blue to an astronaut.

Explanation:

i. the plants are closer to the earth as compared to the stars so the light recives from plants must greater and the fluction caused in the amount of light due to the atmospheric reaction and regligble as compared to the amount of a light recives from them so that our planets do not twinkle

ii.Sunlight has travel a long distance through thick layer of air . The colloidal particles in the sky like molecules of air scatter away colours of shorter wavelength like blue

iii.The blue colur of the sky in due to scattering of light from the atmosphere in space and hence light does not scatter into its coustituent colour that is why the sky appears dark instead of blue to an astronaut in space
