C)when a cell phone falls on the ground,the time period in which mobile comes to rest decreases so the ground exert a large force on the mobile , therefore it breaks.similarly,if the mobile fall down on a carpet It does not break , since the time period in which mobile comes to rest increases so the car the carpet exerts a less force on mobile
