Explain the following statement with reasons. - Hari Singh signed the ‘Instrument of Accession’ with India.

Raja Hari Singh was the king of kashmir.He decided not to merge with India and thought of ruling kashmir.But after Independence pakistan started giving trouble to kashmir.Raja harisingh thought that it would not be safe if there is monarchy.So he decided that he should merge with India and therefore he signed the INSTRUMENT OF ACCESSION WITH INDIA.
