Hey Mate !!

Thanks for the question.

RAJYASABHA :

Rajyasabha is known as Permanent house because, the members of Rajyasabha are elected for a term of six years. Every two years about one third of the members retire and new members are elected in their place.

The Rajyasabha can have a maximum of 250 members. The state assemblies and union territories elect their representatives to Rajyasabha.

Mostly the members of Rajyasabha are elected by members of state legislatures. The member of Rajyasabha should be 30+ years.
