The Indian National Army or the Azad Hind Fauj was a group formed to fight the British rule in India. The group was initially headed by Mohan Singh; who left his position because of the disagreements with the Japanese.


The NAI supported the Japanese army during the Second World War but after the resignation of Mr. Singh the associated was terminated.


Soon after that Shubash Chandra Bose joined in place of Mohan Singh but the association did not work.


The troops were in hopeless position and the group was breaking down. Hence, they had to give up their arms.
