1) Biological Oxygen Demand
It is the dissolved oxygen needed by aquatic aerobic organisms to break down organic material present in a given water sample at certain temperature over a period of time . It helps in measuring the amount of impurity present in water sample .
2) Smoke + Fog = SMOG
It is formed by the combination of smoke and fog present in air in cities specially.
