Chlorophy||:

Chlorophyll is the molecule that absorbs sunlight and uses its energy to synthesise carbohydrates from CO2 and water. This process is known as photosynthesis and is the basis for sustaining the life processes of all plants.

Glucose:

Glucose is the main type of sugar in the blood and is the major source of energy for the body's cells. Glucose comes from the foods we eat or the body can make it from other substances.

Leaf Apex:

The apex is the tip of the leaf blade. Acuminate apices have a long, slender, sharp point, with a terminal angle less than 45 degrees, and straight to convex sides.

Leaf blade:

. especially a leaf of grass or the broad portion of a leaf as distinct from the petiole. blade. foliage, leaf, leafage - the main organ of photosynthesis and transpiration in higher plants.

Midrib:

a large strengthened vein along the midline of a leaf.

Side veins:

These are two large veins which enter the right atrium of the heart from above and below. The superior vena cava carries blood from the arms and head to the right atrium of the heart, while the inferior vena cava carries blood from the legs and abdomen to the heart.

Stomata:

Stomata are the tiny openings present on the epidermis of leaves. We can see stomata under the light microscope. In some of the plants, stomata are present on stems and other parts of plants. Stomata play an important role in gaseous exchange and photosynthesis.

Photosynthesis:

Photosynthesis is a process used by plants and other organisms to convert light energy into chemical energy that, through cellular respiration, can later be released to fuel the organism's metabolic activities.

Chlorophyll-

chlorophyll makes plant green. It's basically a group of green pigments used by organisms that sunlight into energy via photosynthesis.

Glucose-

Glucose is the main source of metabolic energy in living things as it serves as the main substance in glycolysis.
