Phyllotaxy is the arrangement of leaves on a plant stem or branch. This is usually of three types. They are Alternate, Opposite and Whorled.
Phloode is a flattened petiole or leaf rachis that resembles and functions as a leaf, and may or may not be combined with an actual lamina.
