translucent-objects through which light beam passes partially.

opaque - object through which no liht beams are passed

Transparent objects are those through which light can pass. eg: glass, plastic
Translucent objects are those through which light can pass partially. eg. butter paper
Opaque objects are those through which light cannot pass. eg. wood, metal
