Isobars are the same elements having different atomic number but same mass number. USES OF ISOTOPES: (a) It is used as a uranium for the nuclear reactor (b) It is used as cobalt for treating blood cancer. ... ii) Mass number is the number of protons and neutrons in the nucleus taken together.
