1. law of inertia
a body remains of does not change its state of motion until or unless an external force acts on the body
2.law of momentum
net external force acting on a system is numerically equal to rate of change of linear momentum of that system capacity of a system to exert force due to its motion is measured by linear momentum
F=Ma
3. for every action there is opposite action force

The laws are: (1) Every object moves in a straight line unless acted upon by a force. (2) The acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the net force exerted and inversely proportional to the object's mass. (3) For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
