the three important food intervention programme are:
i) FOOD FOR WORK: food for work was introduced in 1977-78. under this food was given to poor workers instead of money wages.
ii)PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM : the food procured by the FCI is distributed through govt. regulated ration shops among the poorer section of the society. this is called PDS.
III) INTEGRATED CHILD DEVELOPMENT SERVICE: integrated child development service was introduced in 1975.under this basic necessities we're provided to children.
