Hi there,

The Ammonia molecule generally made by reaction between 1 Nitrogen atom with 3 Hydrogen atoms. A Single Nitrogen atom has five Electrons in its Valence shell within the tradition Each Hydrogen has one Electron. One of every electron of the Nitrogen and one Electron of Hydrogen mix and make one bond.

Hope it helped.

Ammonia is made of three hydrogen and one nitrogen which are hold together by strong forces of attraction between them. Nitrogen has five valence electrons which are shared between the nitrogen and hydrogen. The molecule has a total of 8 valence electrons where 5 from nitrogen and 1 from each of the three hydrogen atoms which are involved in the formation of the bond.
