Explain the formation of bonding in Oxygen and Nitrogen molecule.​

In the case of oxygen, the covalent bond is formed by sharing of 2 electrons by each oxygen atom. Thus it has double (4 electrons) bonds. In the case of nitrogen, the covalent bond is formed by sharing of 3 electrons by each nitrogen atom. Thus it has triple (6 electrons) bonds.
