The covalent bonds are formed by the sharing of electrons such that both the compounds or the elements should gain the nearest noble gas configuration to he as a stabilised compound,.....
e.g. formation of CO2,H2O, NH3,etc....

Covalent bonds are bonds of element which share their electron which each other. No element loses their electrons. In order to make it stable they join together with the help of their electrons. It is also known as molecular bonds
