b) Na2S is the formula of sodium sulfide .Sodium sulfide is a colourless,water-soluble salt .When exposed to air ,Na2S,emits hydrogen sulfide which is a small similar to rotten eggs. some technical grades,or chemical entities ,give sodium sulfide a yellow appearance in the form of flakes .
