Hola!!
The slowly rivers twists, turns and bends over the wide plains forming loops called Meanders. Continuous erosion and deposition along opposite sides of the meander brings the ends of the loop closer until they nearly join. The main river breaks away and leaves behind a cutoff, horse-shoe shaped lake called OX bow lake..
