The products formed are ozone, PAN, aldehydes and phenols. Spongy parenchyma of young leaves get destroyed, chloroplasts are damaged, reducing photosynthetic activity and thus the growth, inhibition of Electron transport System occurs and also cellular metabolism is affected.
