Ammonium cyanate decomposes to Ammonia and Cyanic acid, which react reversibly to produce Urea: Wöhler's synthesis has historically been presented as the beginning of Organic Chemistry, as the first in vitro synthesis of a chemical compound otherwise produced only by living systems.
