The number of image formed depends upon the angle of inclination of the mirror.

If 360/A = Even number
then, n = 360/A -1 where n= number of images formed, A= angle between the mirror.

If 360/A = Odd number
then there is 3 things to be aware of.
1) If object is placed symetrically between mirrors, then n = 360/A -1
2) If object is placed asymmetrically between mirrors, then n = 360/A.
3) If 360/A is a fraction, then remove the fraction and the integral value of 360/A is the number of images formed.

Hope my answer would help you.

Answer:

The number of image formed depends upon the angle of inclination of the mirror.

Explanation:

If 360/A = Even number

then, n = 360/A -1 where n= number of images formed, A= angle between the mirror.

If 360/A = Odd number

then there is 3 things to be aware of.

1) If object is placed symetrically between mirrors, then n = 360/A -1

2) If object is placed asymmetrically between mirrors, then n = 360/A.

3) If 360/A is a fraction, then remove the fraction and the integral value of 360/A is the number of images formed.
