Answer:
On the basis of mode of genesis pressure belts are divided into four main categories:
1. Equatorial Low Pressure Belt
2. Sub-Tropical High Pressure Belt
3. Sub-Polar Low Pressure Belt
4. Polar High Pressure Belt.

Answer:
The global pressure belts are explained by the global atmospheric circulation.
Explanation:
- The sun is the main cause of the origin of the global pressure belts in the world and the rays of the sun are directly reflected in the equatorial areas or the area of calms or doldrums and these rays then forms convective cells when they get heated by the suns inclination.
- Thus these winds form a convective cells that are called as the Hadley cells ( 0 to 30 degrees) these cells move in circular forms and then reached the polar zones and they end to heat the air lying above and the formation of the Ferrel cell (30 to 60 degrees) and the polar cell (60 to 90 degrees)that take place in their respective latitudes get diverted and move towards the equator in a cyclic nature.
- The Ferrel is weak and occurs in the mixing zones of the low latitudes. The southern oscillation in the pacific ocean is called as the walker circulation whee the El Nino plays a key role.
