Hey there ! ☺✌

1⃣Dark zone :-

The dark zone is the area around the wick of the candle flame that consists of unburned was vapour. When u ignite the candle, the molten wax moves upward and vaporizes around the wick creating a dark zone. This part is dark in colour coz of the decomposed carbon particles formed due to vaporization. It is the least hottest of all the four zones

2⃣Luminous zone :-

This part of the flame is the region where incomplete combustion takes place and lots of heat generated. In this zone, the molten wax particles further vaporizes in the presence of was and vapour particles. This zone is present near the base of flame. This part of flame is typified by yellowish flame.

3⃣Non-profit Luminous zone :-

The non-profit luminous zone is the region of complete combustion. If u look at a flame closely , u will see an ' aura ' formed around it. Since this is the zone of complete combustion, it is also the hottest part of flame.

4⃣Blue zone :-

It is just at the base of flame u will observe a ' bluish hue '. This is due to the incomplete burning of CO2 resulting in the formation of carbon monoxide.

Hope it helps you ! ✌✌
