The French entered vietnam in year 1858.their main aim was to take u Vietnam into their control as it was in defence expenditure under the shadow of the chinese king's Nguyen Dynasty.The french comodity appoined the officer to establish colonies in vietnam.they felt that Vietnamese were uneducated,uncultured,uncivilsed and thus follow chinese culture even though after the destroy of the chinese kingdom in vietnam .thus the french thought to capture vietnam and develop it through western-type education.
