The poem lord ullin's daughter is about the anger of a father which leads to d death of his daughter and her lover. The lovers are trying to elope from lord ullin...who if catches them will kill the chieftain. However to escape from lord ullin and his men the daughter is in a dilemma of not crossing d stormy lochgyle and risking her lover's life or risk getting drowned by crossing the lochgyle. The daughter choses to fight the anger of nature and risk her own life by getting drowned. After the lovers have stepped into the sea, lord ullin reaches the fatal shore and his anger turns into wailing as he realises dat he has lost his butiful daughter.
