when seen under an electron microscope Golgi bodies appears to be flattened structure that contains numerous vesicles containing secretory granules

it consists of

interconnecting tubules

cisternae

vesicles

these are extremely pleomorphic: in some cells these are compact and limited and in others spread out and reticular
