Location:-

=> The ciliary muscles are placed in the eye.

Function:-

=> When we are looking at nearby objects, ciliary muscles contract.

=> So, it's focal length decreases and lens becomes thicker. This enables us to see nearby objects clearly.

=> Ciliary muscles changes the shape of lens.

=> whenever the ciliary muscles are rest , eye lens becomes thin .


=> whenever the ciliary muscles are tense , eye lens automatically thick because it's focal length decreases and converging power automatically increase .
