Function of coleorhiza: The main function of coleorhiza is to provides protection to the radical at the time of germination.
Function of Umbilical cord: Its function is to carry oxygen rich blood from placenta to fetus and waste substances from fetus to the placenta.
Function of Germ pores: Its function is to make a pollen tube in carpel and releases male gamete in it during the process of fertilization.

(a) Coleorhiza - The coleorhiza protects the radicle by forming a protective sheath envelops around the radicle .
(b) Umbilical chord - The umbilical cord helps in transporting oxygenated blood from the placenta to the fetus and deoxygeneted blood from fetus to placenta through abdomen.
(c) Germ pores - The germ pore are present in plants which helps in the formation of the pollen tube which releases the male gametes during fertilization.
