ECONOMIZER : A common application of economizers in steam power plants is to capture the waste heat from boiler stack gases (flue gas) and transfer it to the boiler feedwater. This raises the temperature of the boiler feedwater, lowering the needed energyinput, in turn reducing the firing rates needed for the rated boiler output.
SUPERHEATER : A superheater is a device used to convert saturated steam or wet steam into superheated steam or dry steam. Superheated steam is used in steam turbines for electricity generation, steam engines, and in processes such as steam reforming. There are three types of superheaters: radiant, convection, and separately fired.
REHEATER : Modern steam power plants are usually operated not only with single but with double steam reheating. Steam reheating used in steam power plants as a means for raising the thermal efficiency of the plant, is similar to the two-stage heat addition in gas-turbine plants

Since the super heater steam has a lot of energy the super heater is used for reduce the temperature of the steam, the economizer helps in minimizing the conservation of energy and re-heater is used for increasing the thermal efficiency of the boilers
