The sclera, or white part of the eye, protects the eyeball. The pupil, or black dot at the centre of the eye, is a hole through which light can enter the eye. The iris, or coloured part of the eye, surrounds the pupil. It controls how much light enters the eye by changing the size of the pupil..

The Eyes !!

The eyes are our most important sense organ. Our eyes are special in shape and fitted into the bone socket in the skull.

They are further protected by the eyelids and the eyelashes. These help to keep dust and dirt put of our eyes.

It is a thin, transparent layer that covers the front of the eye.

The round coloured part in the eye is called Iris.

The Lens forms images of a particular objects by focusing on retina. The Lens are located just behind the iris and the pupil.

Retina is a screen of eyeball on which image of an object is formed. It is made up of light-sensitive Cells.
