The heart is an organ found in every vertebrate. It is a very strong muscle that is about the size of a fist. It pumps bloodthroughout the body. It has regular contractions, or when the heart squeezes the blood out into other parts of the body

There are four valves in the heart which prevent blood from flowing backwards. The positions of the heart valves are:

between the right atrium and ventriclebetween the left atrium an dventricleat the entrance to the pulmonary arteryat the entrance to the aorta

The muscular wall of the left ventricle is much thicker than the right because it has to pump blood around the whole body. The right ventricle is thinner because it only has to pump blood through the lungs. The heart has its own blood supply from the coronary arteries

here is ur answer★★★★
_______\\_______________

The right auricle receives deoxygenated blood from great veins namely suerior and inferior vena cave and also from coronary sinus . The left atrium receives oxygenated blood from the lungs through pulmonary veins .The two atria open into respective ventricles each opening being guarded by an atrio-ventricular valve, the right one being called as Tricuspid valve and the left one as bicuspid or mitral valve .The cusps of these two valves are triangular and open towards ventricle only.

The ventricles have far thicker muscular walls than the atria and are separated by a complete inter-ventricular septum .so there is no mixing of blood .The right ventricle containing deoxygenated blood has smaller space and thinner wall in comparison to that of left ventricle containg oxygenated blood. The inner walls of both the ventricle are provided with papillary muscles which are connected to tendinous threads called chordae tendinae. These threads in turn are connected with cups of tricuspid and mitral valve which prevent their opening into atria.
