small intestine mixes food with two juices

1.bile juice from liver

2.pancreatic juice from pancreas - it have three enzymes that are amylase,trips- in,lipase which break food into protein, carbohydrates and fats

it also have villi which increases the area of absorption to make nutrients reach blood

aanyasingh6: it then sends the semi solid food to large intestine by spincter muscles

Here's your answer........user......☺☺☺❤❤❤

☸ THE FUNCTION OF SMALL INTESTINE....

✴ from the stomach, the partially digested food enters the small intestine. the INTESTINE in human beings is the site of complete digestion of food( like carbohydrates, proteins, and fats).

✴ the small intestine receives the secretions of 2 glands: liver and pancreas.

1. liver secretes bile juice. bile is alkaline and contains salts which helps in emulsifying fats.

2. pancreas secretes pancreatic juice which contains digestive enzymes that breaks down the emulsified fats.

☸ then...... the inner surface of small intestine has millions of tiny , finger like projections called villi.

after the food is absorbed and assimilated...

the small intestine contract and expand to pushes the undigested food which cannot be absorbed by small intestine.

☸ then the undigested food get into large intestine. the walls of large intestine absorb most of the water from undigested food. due to this, this undigested part of food becomes semi- solid.

❇ the last part of the large intestine called 'rectum' stores this undigested food for some time. then this undigested food is passed out through anus.

I HOPE THIS WILL HELP U......☺☺☺
