Explain the functions of gram sabaha

Gram Sabha performs legislative functions at village level just as state legislature performs the same at the state level. Gram Sabha provides policies and programs at the village level for poverty alleviation, social and economic development, cultural preservation, empowerment of weaker sections of society, etc.
