the main function is to take decision and to perform actions such as voluntary and involuntary..
brain is divided into three parts: forebrain, hindbrain, and midbrain.
the cerebrum or the forebrain is the main thinking part of the brain.it controls the thinking and memory.all voluntary actions are done by the cerebrum.
function of midbrain... it does the reflex movement of the body.
function of hindbrain...#pons does respiration..#cerebellum helps in maintaining posture and balance.#medulla controls involuntary actions.

cerebrum: voluntary actions.
cerebellum: involuntary actions...
