Functions of management are
1) Planning - - planning refers to the thinking before doing. It is the first managerial function. All other functions of management follow it. Planning helps in deciding future course of action. Without planning, organisation can't move for a long time.
2) Organisation - - It refers to dividing the work in small tasks and dividing every work to each employee according to the capability. It is the second function of management. It follows planning and helps in staffing.
3))Staffing - - It refers to filing the vacant places in the organisation with people. It is the third managerial function. It follows organisation as well as planning and helps the organisation in achieving goals. It main motive is to placed every person at rgt job.
4)) Directing - - It refers to direct, supervising, motivating, leading and communicating the workers for the achievements of goals of the organisation easily.
5))Controlling - - It refers to compare the actual performance of the workers with standard sets. It is the last function of management. It is related with planning.
