Some general features Cellulose are as follows-
=> Cellulose is form of polysaccharide.
=> It is unbranched linear polymer.
=> It is a polymer of glucose.
=> This cellulose is a main component of cell wall.
=> It is the most abundant organic compound of plant kingdom.
Some general features of Hemicellulose are as follows-
=> It is heteropolysaccharide.
=> It is made up of mannose + Galactose( having 6 carbons ) + Arbinose + Xylulose( Having five carbon sugar).
=> It is present in Cell Wall.
=> The main function of Hemicellulose is to bind cellulose microfibrils to matrix of cell wall.
