Operation :-
a fossil fuel like coal, fuel oil or natural gas is burnt in a furnace to heat water in the boiler and produce steam.
as more and more steam is produced, pressure starts developing over the water in the boiler.
this is steam under high pressure is then Led into a turbine chamber which has a steam turbine.
the high pressure Jet of steam hits the Blades of the turbine thus causing the turbine to rotate and the turbine in turn rotate the shaft of an electric generator to which it is connected to produce electricity.
meanwhile, dice team that has already been used up to rotate the tile wind comes out from an outlet in the turbine chamber .
at the outlet they spent steam is cool to condense it into water which is then get back into the boiler to boil again and this cycle continues.
