The blood group in the humans are a result of incomplete dominance of I gene
There are three types of genes IA, IB, i the first two are dominant and show incomplete dominance while the later one is recessive gene. When a person gets IA with i or IA with IA gene he/she will be having blood group of A. While person having gene IB with i or IB with IB will have B blood group. The persons having IA with IB will show both characters i.e. AB blood group
