Global warming is the long term rise in the average temperature of earth.

It is caused when sun's rays come inside Earth's atmosphere and touch the surface of the earth, Earth's surface reflects this but these hot rays get trapped because of the atmosphere, and further warm the earth.

it is also caused by an increase in the amount of carbon dioxide in atmosphere more than it's average amount.
