1)Golgi Apparatus was discoverd by Camillo Golgi using black reaction method.
2)It consists of A network of membrane-bound and fluid-filled resides, flattened cisternae which are stacked parallel (one above the other)to each other and vacuoles which are large and spherical.
3)Each of these stacks is called a cistern.
4)Plant cells ,Golgi Apparatus is small and multiple in membrane called dictysomes.
5)Golgi Apparatus originates from the membrane of Smmoth ER .It is also known as the secretory organelle of the cell.
6) The material that is synthesized near ER is packaged and dispatched(after storage and Modifications ) to various parts i.e. inside and outside the cell.
6) Golgi Apparatus has 2 faces-cis faceand trans face. C is face where the materials from ER fusevwith cistern to form Golgi sacs .After storing and Modifications ,the material are dispatched from the trans face into the secretory vesides to the target area of the cell.
Hope this help You.
